Have you ever heard of the Ugly Gift? Even if you’ve never heard of it, you have definitely experienced it. The ugly gift is the difficult circumstances that life offers us, that none of us have ever asked for. Poverty, car accidents, losing a job, tragically losing a loved one, this list can go on and on. Although life hands us these terrible situations, it really does come down to our ability to find appreciation within it. Even within our tough incidents, there are always gems and lessons to be learned; the present that is wrapped within that ugly gift.
